BidCactus.com is Accepted Into Entertainment Auction Association

Below is an article that I read on PRNewswire.  Bid Cactus was accepted into the new association, Entertainment Auction Association. This association promotes penny auction integrity. It also strives to make penny auctions safe and reliable for all players.

WESTPORT, Conn., Dec. 21, 2010 /PRNewswire/ --

BidCactus.com is proud to announce their acceptance into the Entertainment Auction Association, THE governing body and face of the Paid Auctions Industry.  Launched in 2008, BidCactus.com is the gold standard in penny auctions and has been at the forefront of the Paid Auctions Industry.  The company is the first and only to be audited by a top accounting firm and the first to introduce a Player's Bill of Rights. BidCactus.com offers shoppers the chance to bid for electronics, laptops and gift cards for mere pennies.
"When we set out to create the very best online auction experience, we knew what would get us there – a fun customer experience, helpful customer service and, most importantly, guaranteed fair play," said Michael Staw, BidCactus.com CEO.  "We have stayed true to our commitment and we are pleased to demonstrate it to our players by joining this important Association.  We encourage all other Penny Auction companies to do the same."
Comprised of three founding member companies, including BidCactus.com, the Entertainment Auction Association was created with the sole purpose of ensuring that companies operating within the paid auctions industry do so with absolute integrity.  The Entertainment Auction Association will be run and directed by board members, officers, and a paid Executive Director, all of whom will oversee the activities of the Association and its members.
All Entertainment Auction Association members must prove that they are not engaging in any fraudulent or deceptive behavior, that their web site and marketing campaigns comply with the FTC's truth-in-advertising rules and policies, and that they agree to be subject to specific fines and penalties (including expulsion from the Association) if they violate the Association's code of conduct.

How Does Quibids Work?

Those new to penny auctions and Quibids might wonder how Quibids actually makes money when they sell items at 95% off retail price. To begin, on Quibids customers must purchase their bids. Each bid costs just $0.60. Bids are available in Bid Packs of 45, 75, 300, 600 and 800 bids. These bids are pre-paid and placed in your Bids Account. Each time you place a bid, your Bids Account is deducted one bid. Once a bid is placed the auction price will go up in increments of 1,2,5,10,15, or 20 cents. Anywhere between 10-20 seconds is added to the timer every time someone bids. This gives enough time for someone else to make the decision to bid if they're interested. This is similar to the “Going once...Going twice...SOLD!” approach of traditional auctions.

If you are the top bidder when the timer reaches zero, you win! You will then pay the ending auction price as well as the cost of shipping. If you do not win, you lose your bids that have been placed; however, Quibids offers a Buy it Now feature on all auctions. When you use the “Buy it Now” feature, Quibids subtracts the cash value of the bids you’ve placed (excluding voucher bids) from the value price of the item, and you only have to pay the difference.

Let's say you spend 30 bids trying to win a $30 valued product, but you don't win. Your 30 bids are worth $18 (30 x $0.60), so if you choose to use the "Buy It Now', you will pay $12 plus shipping for the product. *Please note that this offer applies to real bids only, and that voucher bids to do not apply to the Buy It Now option.

The "Buy It Now" feature limits the risk in participating in our auctions as we offer the Buy It Now feature for the majority of our auctions.

Quibids makes a good profit on each item even though the item is sold at a deep discount. For example, if a $50 gift card was sold for only $3.50 on Quibids,  Quibids will receive from the winner $3.50 + shipping, plus from all bidders (350 bids x $0.60 = $210). Thus, Quibids will make $210 + $3.50 + $3.00 (shipping) - $50 (price of gift card) = $166.50. However, keep in mind there are some items that they actually do loose money on. And as with any business they have labor, rent, training, maintenance and other expenses.

Bid2Free Launches a Unique Penny Auction Site

Below is an article that I found on prweb.com:

Bid2Free launched a first known penny auction website of its kind in the United States this holiday shopping season. Bid2Free.com starts all items on its auctions at between 90% and 95% off retail prices and allows users to bid until the items reach $0.
“We have had a great response from consumers since we launched the site,” said Jon Ruprecht, an owner of Bid2Free.com. “The iPods and iPads, in particular, have built a lot of interest because members are getting them for a fraction of the price they’d pay in the store.”
Individuals create a secure account, choose a bid bundle and begin participating in auctions. Each time members click on an auction item, they pay to lower the price until it reaches $0 or the timer expires. The person who clicks the bid to zero or is the last to bid before time expires, wins the item. If the item reaches zero, the member receives 1 account credit. Shipping is free.
A patent is pending for the new bidding system. The first seven-day auction filled with the season’s top Christmas gifts ends Sunday.
Since launching, Bid2Free.com has steadily increased its membership. The company is giving away an iPod nano for every 100 people who sign up and place a bid, an iPod touch when 500 members are reached, and an iPad when membership reaches 1,000.
Bid2Free, headquartered in St. Cloud, was founded on philosophy to not only make shopping easy, but also to give back to the community. The company donates 10 percent of its monthly profits to charity. Learn more at Bid2Free.com.

How Penny Auctions Work

Most penny auction sites follow the same three basic steps: purchase bids, bid on items, win products. Below is an outline on how penny auction sites work. Most sites have bells and whistles that include auto bidders, buy it now, beginners auctions and more.

1.) Purchase bids

Cost:
The cost of a bid bundle varies site to site. Most sites do not allow you to see bid packages without signing up first. Below are an example of packages and prices.

Bidrodeo.com:
50 bids - $37.50 ($0.75 a bid)
100 bids - $72.00 ($0.72 a bid)
200 bids - $140.00 ($0.70 a bid)
500 bids - $340.00 ($0.68 a bid)
800 bids - $500.00 ($0.62 a bid)

Quibids.com: $0.60 a bid
75 bids - $45.00
80 bids - $48.00 (starter pack)
300 bids - $180.00
500 bids - $300.00

Bidcactus.com: $0.75 a bid
30 bids - $22.50
50 bids - $37.00
100 bids - $75.00
250 bids - $187.50
500 bids - $375.00

Bidblink.com: $0.40 a bid
30 bids + 20 bonus bids - $19.98
70 bids + 30 bonus bids - $39.98
150 bids + 50 bonus bids - $79.98
420 bids + 80 bonus bids - $199.98
1250 bids + 100 bonus bids - $49.98 ($0.37 a bid)

Swoopo.com: $0.40 a bid
40 bids - $24.00
75 bids - $45.00
80 bids - $50.00
150 bids - $90.00
400 bids - $240.00
1000 bids - $600.00

2.) Bid on items (auctions)

Most penny auction sites divide auctions into beginner, intermediate, and advanced auctions. This helps new customers compete in auctions among their piers. Most sites also guarantee that if you are a new customer you will win at least one auction.

3.) Win Products
Each site sells varying items but you can usually find the following:
-TVs
-Cameras
-Video Games
-Kitchen equipment
-Board Games
-DVDs
-Perfume
-Purses
-Outdoor gear
-Vacuums
-Kids items

Beezid.com Promises Minimum Savings of 75% Off Retail

Penny auction trendsetter Beezid.com is following up successful promotions to celebrate their first anniversary and Black Friday even bigger savings. For the first time ever, users get back every bid placed and a guaranteed savings of 75% off on December 29th for “Beezid's Holiday Blast”. Lincoln, DE (PRWEB) December 23, 2010 Penny auction trendsetter Beezid.com is following up successful promotions to celebrate their first anniversary and Black Friday “save 50-99% off retail and get your bids back” promotion with an even bigger event on December 29th for “Beezid's Holiday Blast”.

Instead of guaranteeing a mere 50% off retail, Beezid has taken the unprecedented step of guaranteeing their users save from 75-99% off retail for every auction during the 24 hours of December 29th. For the 24 hours of December 29th, beginning at midnight and continuing until 11:59 pm EDT, users will get back each and every bid they place, win or lose. To ensure that the inevitable higher bid total doesn't drive prices up too high, Beezid guarantees that each item will sell for no more than 75% of the actual retail price. Users do have to pay the closing auction price and shipping costs but auctions will be risk-free to bid on and savings will be 75-99% off retail, guaranteed. “We decided to give our users a late Christmas present this year,” said Beezid CEO Max Bohbot. “By giving users the opportunity to get all their bids back for an entire day, we expect more winners than ever at Beezid.com.” When asked about the greater than ever savings Bohbot said, “Beezid users expect innovation and savings from us as an industry leader and we're happy to oblige by cranking both up another notch for Beezid's Holiday Blast.

A guaranteed savings of 75-99% off retail is a perfect way to do it.” With so many users walking away with tons of brand name items for pennies on the dollar at Beezid's Birthday Bash and Black Friday Bonanza, Beezid has decided to do it all over again, with even more savings. “We realize that December 29th isn't considered a significant date so we're starting our own Holiday.” Bohbot continued, “Beezid's Holiday Blast will be a date circled on all of our users calendars.” Everyone loves getting their bids back all day long but perhaps even more exciting is the fact that users are guaranteed to spend no more than 25% of the retail price on auctions. That's a guaranteed savings of between 75% and 99% off retail, all day long. Visit Beezid.com for all the info and some incredible offers to help you maximize your savings. Those who have never tried Beezid before should not miss out on this special event. Registration is quick and easy and new users will receive ten free bids with no obligation. QuiBids Awards its Millionth Auction Winner $10,000

Representatives of QuiBids present $10,000 to winner, Josh Neifert.
Oklahoma City, OK (Vocus/PRWEB) December 10, 2010
“Oh my goodness, Dad!” is what two-year old Jentzon said to his father, Josh Neifert, QuiBids' millionth auction winner, on the evening of December 7. Neifert is the winner of QuiBids' ”Be the Millionth Auction Winner” promotion that ran during the month of November. Neifert won $10,000, plus an additional $1,000 to designate to his charity of choice.
Two representatives of QuiBids flew out to meet Neifert at his family business, Rock Roll-O-Rena, in Arnold, MO, on Tuesday, December 7. Neifert and five members of his family were present as he was presented with an oversized check along with memorabilia from QuiBids. When asked what he planned to do with the $10,000, Neifert replied, “I'll start to invest some into my son's college fund, pay off some bills and buy a few extra gifts for Christmas this year.” Neifert chose to designate the additional $1,000 to the local chapter of Toys for Tots. “I believe every kid should be able to get something for Christmas,” said Neifert.
The ”Be the Millionth Auction Winner” promotion was QuiBids first cash prize giveaway. “It was a successful promotion,” said Jill Farrand, Director of Public Relations. “Knowing the holidays were upon us, we wanted to host a giveaway that we hadn't done before. We are excited for the Neifert family and thank them for having us out to their family business.”
This holiday season will surely be merry for the Neiferts!

Site: 9.0 / 10
Customer Support: 7.2 / 10
Products: 7.9 / 10

Comments: ZebraDingo.com has a pretty impressive penny auction site. I love the look and feel of the site. It is easy to navigate. However, it was a little difficult to find contact information and ZebraDingo only offers a support email and no phone or chat. For that reason I only rated the customer support of the site at a 7.2. I do like the product that the site offers but wish they had more auctions. They do have SEVERAL auction types which is a great incentive to incise any type of buyer.

Bid Penny Review:
Site: 8.6 / 10
Customer Support: 9.0 / 10
Products: 9.6 / 10

Comments: Bid Rivals is an international penny auction website. It offers its services to SEVERAL countries. Bid Rivals has hundreds of auctions running daily due to its large international audience. Each bid is $0.65 which is industry standard. One thing that is a little disappointing to me is that you only receive one free bid at sign up. However, use the coupon code FB12 to receive 12 free bids with the purchase of your first bid pack. Bid Rivals seems to have it all with bid agents and a buy it now option. Due to the sites internet presence its customer service is supreme. I recommend BidRivals for all those interested in bidding on a large site.

Online Penny Auctions 101

What is a Penny Auction?

Penny auctions are similar to a traditional auction, where items are purchased through a bidding system. A penny auction is an online auction where bidders make bids in increments of one cent with every bid raising the price of the item by just one cent. Unlike traditional online auctions, bidders must pay for bids or bid packs. Also unlike traditional auctions, penny auctions are timed. The last person to place a bid is determined the winner of the auction. The timed auction concept is very similar to the online auction model of eBay. However, unlike eBay, online penny auction sites usually increase the auction time with each bid placed.

Why Shop Online Penny Auctions?

Many people are attracted to penny auctions because of the tremendous savings they offer on brand new products. Penny auction sites offer electronics, computers, household items, gift cards, and more at rates as low as 5% the retail price. Much like a traditional auction, there is a possibility of another bidder bidding on the same item that you are. However, this is the thrill of the online auction game. Many people are attracted to penny auctions for the thrill they receive during the bidding process. Penny auctions have an advantage over other auction sites like eBay because all items are brand new and from a trusted source.

Ten Tips for New Penny Auction Users

I found the ten tips listed below on BidCactus.com. I really think theses tips are helpful and thought I would share:

Top 10 tips for new Cacti

The following is a section of suggestions from the Bidcactus staff. They are not guaranteed strategies. If you have a tip or trick you'll like to recommend, please email us here.
  1. Before you get started, be sure to check out How Bidcactus Works and our FAQs section.
  2. Be patient and observe the site before you bid. Watch a few auctions as they come to an end and develop your own strategy.
  3. Don't spread your bids too thinly. Focus on one or two auctions at a time to maximize your chances of winning.
  4. It's better to bid late in the game. Wait until there are ten seconds or less on the clock before you place a bid.
  5. Watch for our slower times and take advantage of them. When everyone is off enjoying their morning coffee or stuck in rush hour traffic, you can walk off with great deals.
  6. Arm yourself with enough bids to win the item that you want.
  7. Always keep an eye on the number of remaining bids in your account and purchase more if needed. You don't want to run out of bids at an inconvenient moment.
  8. Look for hidden opportunities. If everyone is buzzing around the TV, then scoop up the $50 Visa card and splurge on something wonderful.
  9. Take advantage of the great Bidcactus promotions - refer a friend to earn 5 free bids, or join us for Happy hour Fridays.
  10. Have fun!!!

Class Action Lawsuit Against Quibids.com

Today a class action lawsuit has been filed against QuiBids, LLC, by the law firm of Beckham & Mandel in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma alleging deceptive and unfair trade practices and fraud in its operation of QuiBids.com.
QuiBids.com is an interactive online website which allegedly allows its users to buy consumer products at greatly reduced prices by participating in online auctions. QuiBids.com claims that users of their website will pay 80-95% less than retail prices for thousands of consumer products, including high-end items such as HDTVs, laptops, and even automobiles, by bidding on their merchandise via online auctions. However, according to the suit, virtually none of the consumers who participate in these "auctions" will win the right to purchase such high-end item products at those greatly reduced prices.
The suit alleges that the failure to win auctions is costly to QuiBids customers. Each auction draws hundreds or thousands of bids purchased at $.60 per bid. The losing bidders do not get back the cost of the losing bids. Thus, the overwhelming majority of customers will lose money using the QuiBids website, according to the suit.
The suit alleges that QuiBids.com does not tell its customers that they have virtually no chance to come out ahead financially. Thus, while QuiBids.com passes itself off as a legitimate auction house, its business operation is more akin to a casino or a lottery.
As a result of QuiBids.com's alleged fraudulent and deceptive business practices, the suit alleges QuiBids has taken in millions of dollars. In one such auction, alleged in the suit, QuiBids' profits exceeded $12,000 from the bidding on a $1,500 HDTV. The ultimate winner paid $228.59, but 22,859 bids were purchased by all bidders in the total amount of $13,715.40. All of those bidders except one walked away with nothing, never knowing they were playing more of a lottery than bidding in an auction.
While QuiBids.com claims that it offers consumers great savings, "In reality, they are just taking people's money and giving them nothing in return," Roger Mandel, attorney for the Class, said. "If they want to operate their business like a lottery, then they need to tell people the truth about their chances of winning -- which are slim to none," said Mandel.

Interview with the CEO of QuiBids.com

Below is an interview from Penny Auction Watch on Quibids:

January 24, 2010retweet
quibids.com logo
We recently interviewed CEO Matt Beckham of US based penny auction QuiBids.com. Mr. Beckham tells us that QuiBids.com is the largest US penny auction in terms of auctions per day (about 200). Over the last three days, since January 21st, 2010, there have been 485 ended auctions.  Possibly more ended auctions than any other penny auction site?
A few PAW forum members have received items with QuiBids.com, read comment from users in our forum, but don’t forget to tell us about your experiences with Quibids.
With all the penny auction websites out there these days, how do you feel you’re any different than any of your other competitors?
QuiBids.com : That’s a great question.  When we decided to enter the penny auction space, there were about half the number of competitors as there are today; and that was 6 months ago!  With all of our competition running this model in a similar manner, we realized the best way we could differentiate ourselves from our competitors was by providing our users with auctions that are easy to win. Moreover, we strive to provide our users with excellent  customer service , and to get our products to our winners as quickly as possible.
In the next 6 months, however, you’ll see some substantial differences in the way we run the penny auction model versus our competitors. So stay tuned…
What got you interested in the entertainment shopping industry?
QuiBids.com: We felt it was a fun business model.  Penny auctions are fascinating in many aspects.   There is a lot of economics, marketing, finance and many other facets of business, involved in making a penny website successful. We thought this would be a wonderful challenge in a fun niche market.
How long have you been open?

QuiBids.com: We launched QuiBids in late October of 2009.  Since then, we’ve experienced substantial growth and are looking forward to the year ahead.  We’re pretty pumped about all the things we have planned for 2010.  Some of these plans include ways to change the landscape of penny auctions in regards to not only how they’re run, but also how to create the best user experience for our customers.
What kind of items do you offer/ have lined up?  Do your auctions run on a schedule?
QuiBids.com: We are currently auctioning off HDTVs, MacBooks, smart phones, gaming consoles, digital cameras, a variety of gift cards to many popular stores, various kitchen appliances, and much more.
Yes, we do schedule our auctions to give our users a chance to see what’s coming up.  This way they know when to come back and bid.

Penny Auctions can sometimes get a bad reputation, due to the fact that some employ bot bidding scripts and shill bid.  What do you have to say about those who say “QuiBids is a scam” or “Penny Auctions are scams?”

QuiBids.com:
I feel that anytime a consumer potentially spends money and gets nothing in return, (other than the experience of competing for prizes), you are going to have those who say it’s a scam.  Given the model of penny auctions, there are many companies that run these sites only to make money. These companies do not put an emphasis on building long lasting, valuable relationships with their customers.  At QuiBids, we didn’t want to just be another penny auction site that cycles through new customers in order to make the model work.  In order to make this happen, we’ve dedicated ourselves to giving out the most wins of any penny auction website, as well as making it easy to win.  Because we do this, and do it quite effectively, anybody that uses our site for a few hours and watches auctions will clearly see we aren’t a scam.
What are the timer increments between bids/does this vary by auction?

QuiBids.com:
We want to allow time for everyone to have the option to think about whether he/she wants to bid on an item. We use 20 second/15 second/10 second progressions; this is essentially the internet auction equivalent of ‘going, going, gone’. All auctions start off and as they gain more attention and bids, the timer increment goes down to 15 and then finally 10 seconds.
If a user does not win an auction, we do offer the ‘Buy it Now’ option, which is where the user can purchase the item at retail minus the cost of bids placed.
How much are your bids?
We also offer free bids for a person’s birthday (5), for referring friends (25 bids), and for other promotional offers!

Each bid costs just $0.60 and you can buy them in the following bid pack sizes:
40 Bids = $24
75 Bids = $45
300 Bids = $180
600 Bids = $360
800 Bids = $480

How many auctions do you currently run each day?

QuiBids.com: We currently run over 200 auctions a day. In terms of the number of auctions and winners we have daily, this makes us the largest US penny auction website. We take great pride in not only having the most auctions, but also giving our users the best chance of winning.

What are your shipping costs? How long does it usually take for users to receive their items?

QuiBids.com: Our shipping costs vary from item to item.  Users should expect to receive their items anywhere from 5-10 business days… In other words, pretty quick!
What states/countries are you open to?

QuiBids.com: We are currently only open to the United States; however, we are considering whether we want to offer QuiBids internationally.  At the moment we feel we are able to give the best user experience and customer service by staying within the United States.

What is your policy for bid refunds?

QuiBids.com: We are happy to refund any unused bids, though we do not offer refunds on bids that were placed during auctions, unless there was a glitch in the system on our end.  This is a very rare occurrence, but in the event that this does happen, we’re happy to assist in the situation.
Are there win limits, limits /household?

QuiBids.com:
Yes, there are limits. While some exceptions may apply, only one account is allowed per person, per household.  Our support team would be happy to answer any questions regarding this policy.
We limit a total of eight wins every 28 days and only three wins per day per account.   Additionally, only one win of the same product is allowed, on items with a value price of over $285, over that same 28 day time span.  Similarly, only one win is allowed per 28 days on items with a value price $1,000 or greater. These limits are in place so that we can give everyone the best chance possible to win an auction.
Is there a story behind the name/theme?

QuiBids.com:
QuiBids is pronounced (Kwi-Bids), as in Quick Bids.   We’re just chopping off the “c” and the “k.”  This has led, unfortunately, to people pronouncing QuiBids in all types of different ways such as Kwee-Bids, Q-Bids, etc.
Is there anything else you would like to tell Penny Auction Watch readers?

Quibids.com: Our mission is to redefine shopping by providing the best deals possible for our customers with a unique, fun and exciting online experience.  We give out the most wins (for US residents) out of any penny auction website and we do this because we want users to continue to use QuiBids for their shopping needs.  Also, we pride ourselves in being the beacon of moral and ethical business practices in our industry. We define success through the creation of long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with our customers.

Crazy Beezid Black Friday

Beezid.com is having the craziest Black Friday deals I have ever seen! First, they are reimbursing every bid placed on Black Friday. Win or loose every customer will be credited the bids they placed on the auction shortly after the auction ends. Also, Beezid is freezing prices at 50% of retail value. Thus, the final bidder when the price reaches 50% of the retail value wins.

New Changes at BidPigs.com

BidPigs.com has recently made some new and exciting changes. I really like the updated look and feel of the site. Below is a summary of the changes:

BidPigs has just undergone some major changes!
Please review this list for details on the changes. We sure hope you enjoy the new look pig pen!
1. Introducing RESERVE AUCTIONS. These auctions will not go active until the reserve is hit. The reserve will be set in the range as listed on each auction. Once a lucky bidder hits that reserve, the auction will activate, with only 10 minutes left on the timer! Bid now and hit that reserve so the auction can end before anyone even knows it was activated! Once active these auctions behave as standard auctions. This feature will allow BidPigs to offer more big ticket items!

2. News Section. This feature will help us stay on top of updating all of our little pigs about future upgrades, contests and specials. Please keep an eye on the date of the news to see if there is information you should see.

3. Referral Program. We have activated the BidPigs refer a pig program! Now you can earn free bids by getting all your little piggies to come play with us! We will give you 3 free bids everytime that one of your friends buys bids! Every time! Visit the referral link in your profile and start hogging those bids up today!

4. Penny Auction 101 with Ms. Spigtacular. This area will become an easy to read, user friendly class for everyone that has questions about our site and features. While the help section still offers the most information, Ms. Spigtacular will try to break it down so even the silliest little runt learns a trick or two!

5. Bid Pricing. We have restructured the two largest bid packages to bring pricing between the smaller packs and the larger closer together. Some users noted that there was an appearance of favoritism to the heavier bidders by having such a price break for larger packs. BidPigs will continually work to make this site as fair as possible to all users!
6. New look. We worked hard to design and implement some cool new pigs and images. We don't want everyone looking at the same old pig pen! Keep an eye out for even more new pigs and images coming soon!
As always, BidPigs values your opinion. If you have any comments, or questions, please let us know!

Bid66's Unique Products

I just became a fan of Bid66.com through facebook.com. I was first incited by a promotion they currently have for 5 free bids. The promotion code is bid5. I registered for the site also and received 10 free bids. Thus, I got a total of 15 free bids! One thing I do like about Bid66 is that they have the most unique products I have ever seen. I am really excited to use the site for my Christmas shopping because I can find something for everyone. So what do I define as unique? Well...today for example they are selling a Wheeled Snow Shovel, Turkey Fryer Kit, and Single Cup Coffee Machine to name a few.

Haggle Discontinued - Closed for Business

Haggle the well known penny auction site officially discontinued their services on October 28, 2010.  Haggle users can transfer their account to BigDeal.com.

“After transferring your Haggle.com bids you can participate in all the great auctions at BigDeal.com’! Check out features such as the Bid Buddy to help members like you win more auctions and the Loyalty Store, an opportunity to buy items at extreme discounts using Loyalty Bucks (included with new bid packs)”

BigDeal is another penny auction website that started in November of 2009 with headquarters in San Fransisco. BigDeal does offer great services like Bid Buddy and customers can apply 100% of the cost of their bids towards the purchase of the auctioned item. BigDeal.com is also accredited by the Better Business Bureau. However, Haggle customers are not too happy. The customers do not necessarily loose their bids, but have to transfer their bids to BidDeal. Some customers have contacted Haggle directly for a refund on their bids. However, Haggle has made it known that the only option for their customers is to have their bids transferred to BigDeal.com. The unfortunate thing about Haggle is there was no warning to their customers.
