The Best Auction on Quibids - "You Choose It"

I love shopping on Quibids.com. They are the biggest and one of the best penny auction sites out there. One thing that makes them so great is they have thousands of auctions each day. They also have thousands of customers, which makes competition more fierce, but also more fun. Quibids has always been a trustworthy site and is definitely not a scam. All you need to do is watch their site for 5 minutes to realize that they have real customers bidding and no bots.

I wanted to write a blog post featuring my favorite auction on Quibids. On Quibids I like to bid big and bid small. It depends on the mood I am in. However, I tend to bid on smaller items more often. My favorite auctions are the "You choose it" gift cards. Most of the "You choose it" auctions even include free bids. For example, Qubids will give you 10 free bids with a $10 gift card, or you can get 25 free bids on Quibids with a $25 gift card. This brings a new meaning to a "win-win" situation. Fezaz Site Down

Well, I believe I called this one. A few weeks ago I wrote a blog post concerning Fezaz.com and their poor business practices. I predicted that the site will go out of business shortly. And I was right! If you visit Fezaz's penny auction site it reads "The website is down for a moment." Most penny auction companies post this when they've gone out of business. I hope that Fezaz doesn't take their customer's money and run like they did mine. I am usually sad when penny auction sites go out of business. But I am very happy about Fezaz going out of business. Their site and business practices were a scam. Read my earlier blog post to see the facts.

I posted last week a new Quibids.com coupon code worth 10 free bids. I wanted to update all of my readers that might not have seen my previous post for the new 2011 Quibids coupon code. The code is: WINTODAY.

Wavee Site is Down - Customers Conserned Wavee is a Scam

The Wavee site is down due to "technical issues".  If you visit Wavee.com you will see the below message to their customers:

Unfortunately, Wavee is currently unavailable due to technical difficulties. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working to restore service.

We are continuing to ship normally during this disruption. If you have additional shipping questions, you may contact us here. We will post any information regarding the outage here on the website as it becomes known. We appreciate your patience.

Personally, I have seen over 20 penny auctions sites close their doors due to "technical issues," claiming that they will open soon, but these sites never return. The Wavee team states that they will be shipping won products. However, there are numerous customers reporting that they are not receiving the products that they won on this penny auction site. This is just too bad. 

I frankly don't believe that Wavee's site is down due to computer issues. I think it is because they had 442 complaints filed in the recent 3 years with the Better Business Bureau. The Better Business Bureau is warning customers and potential customers to not play and shop on Wavee.com. Better Business Bureau complains are from numerous states including: New Jersey, Texas, Oregon, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Florida, California and Hawaii. 


The reasons for customer complaints varies but the most common complaint involves technical issues. Wavee's penny auction site will shut down while people are bidding on an auction. When the site crashes, the winning customer does not receive the product they were bidding on and also loses bids. 


There has also been occurrences where customers have had unauthorized charges on their credit cards. Testimonials against Wavee including an story about unautthorized credit card use can be found on SiteJabber. Most customers on SiteJabber believe that Wavee is a big scam. 


The Better Business Bureau warns customers to read a website's terms and conditions before participating and giving money to the site. Also, review the Better Business Bureau's rating of the site. In this case, the Better Business Bureau rated Wavee and "F". A rating of an F is the worst score any company can have. There are penny auction sites that have good ratings.
